Though it probably has a limited market, I really like the idea of a sketchbook specifically designed for paper prototyping iPhone applications. A paper/pen combo is still to this day a developer’s most invaluable tool.

A spot-on article by Wil Shipley on the things that the App Store does right, as well as what it does wrong. Though it’s nearly a year old, much of this stuff still applies.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is a rather interesting game. It represents a genre that isn’t exactly common in video games, and it captures the feel of a Western well. Unfortunately, the gameplay and graphics are riddled with glitches and annoyances to the point that the story is what kept me going through to the very end.
