Adds support for the iPad as well as new Genius features. What I’m most pleased about, however, is the fact that they finally changed the option that read “mark as watched” even when dealing with audio-only podcasts to “mark as played”.
Very nice. They did the same with iTunes music not too long ago.

Overall, iTunes 9 is a nice upgrade. Not wild about the new look that’s inconsistent with other OS X apps, but the redesigned store is great. Even better, the store appears to use WebKit instead of a custom UI – why they didn’t implement this change earlier is beyond me.
The Boy Genius Report claims that the next major version of iTunes will add Blu-ray playback and integration with Last.fm, Twitter and Facebook.
