SEGA just announced that the SEGA 3D Classics Collection is coming to retail in the US (it was only available in Japan previously).
I really wish they’d announce it for Europe, too. Mainly because M2 is behind the compilation, which ensures it’ll be absolutely top-notch.
Newest purchase added to my game collection: Sega Soccer Slam for the GameCube. I’ve been looking for a frantic local multiplayer sports game; hope this one delivers. Also, I’ll use any excuse for a chance to play with GCN controllers again.
Night Trap making a return on Kickstarter
The iconic full-motion-video game, placing YOU in the leading role of a horror movie, is set to make its return in a new hi-def format!
The original game, first released on Sega CD / Mega CD, has reached somewhat of a cult status. $330,000 might be hard to reach, though.
Just purchased a PAL Mega Drive (first model) for a pretty modest 65 euros. It seems to be in good condition based on photos; let’s hope the same rings true when I get it next week.
I’ll post some pictures once I get the unit.
Fired up my Master System to test that it works and thankfully it does. But I forgot just how shitty and RF signal looks, especially on a modern TV. I might just have to mod the system to get RGB out.
I never was a huge fan of Alex Kidd.
